The Rickaby Walton search process that can be boiled down to six key steps:
1. UNDERSTAND YOUR NEEDS:
The starting point is to prepare a comprehensive assignment brief which embraces a detailed description of the role, reporting structure, background issues, candidate specification, key competencies, KPI’s and importantly the client’s cultural framework. We ask a lot of questions to determine your immediate and longer-term goals for the position, as well as your broader business issues, desired leadership style and more.
2. SEARCH FOR THE BEST:
We conduct comprehensive, methodical, original research informed by experience and creativity. And then we approach prospective candidates as peers, providing the kind of expert insight and sound advice that earns their trust.
3. FIND THE PERFECT MATCH:
Our rigorous assessment process looks beyond a candidate’s record of achievements to gauge specific competencies and the many dimensions of “fit”. Short-listed candidates are presented to the client with detailed curriculum vitae, significant additional background information and consultant recommendations.
4. CLOSE THE DEAL:
We will assist through the offer management stage and with all candidate communications until the offer is accepted and a starting date agreed. We work with you to turn the best prospect into a successful hire, checking all references, negotiating the offer and addressing any concerns along the way.
5. LONG-TERM FOLLOW-UP:
